Marrs Maddocks & Associates is pleased to provide online resources for our clients. You are able to download forms, link through to provider directories, view benefit summaries, and tap into many resources that will help you get the most from your benefit plan. All this in an easy to read format that even the Internet novice will find simple to navigate.

Introductory Services
We review all employee benefit programs currently offered by our new client. We analyze both the quality of benefits provided and the cost effectiveness to the company. Our goal is to recommend a program that meets our clients need of providing the best benefits within the allotted budget.

We review the current benefits administration procedures with our client to determine if there are alternative options for administration and communication that we can suggest that will save our customer time and money.

We provide information and resources for COBRA and HIPAA administration services to lower the liability and exposure for our client surrounding these laws.

Based on the research we conduct as mentioned above, we will develop a benefit communication piece that captures all of the various benefit programs for our client to reduce the amount of paperwork given to employees when they become eligible for benefits and at open enrollment.



Annual Renewal Services
Marrs Maddocks and Associates will schedule an annual strategic planning meeting with our client several months prior to the open enrollment of the employee benefit plans. It is important that MM+A considers variables of your company that may have changed over a 12-month period such as the number of employees that you have and the locations of all employees and offices. We will go through the following items to be sure that our customer has the best employee benefits program for the amount of premium paid each year.

We apprise our client of local and national benefit trends, innovative ideas and recommendations for new products, programs and services to ensure a competitive benefits program. For example, if the size of your eligible employee group has changed dramatically, there may be different programs available that were not an option in the past.

We determine and recommend the most economical and efficient funding methods for various benefit programs.

We solicit bids as necessary for all benefits programs and evaluate bids based on price, claims procedures, experience, history, service record, financial policies, stability and overall fit to satisfy our clients needs.

If any of the employee benefit plans renew on different months throughout the year, we determine if they can be consolidated to one anniversary month for ease of administration.

We assist with the creation and implementation of communication materials (flyers, brochures, presentations, etc.) for new, current or changing programs including materials for open enrollment and benefit fairs.

We arrange and oversee all open enrollment meetings to explain the benefits of each plan offered as well as assist in the enrollment process.


Ongoing Services
Marrs Maddocks and Associates differentiates itself from other brokerage firms by providing ongoing service throughout the year rather than just during the renewal of your employee benefit programs. MM+A will provide the following services to our client throughout the plan year.

We assist in the administration of all group insurance plans. This includes settling disputes and other issues with the insurance carriers. Employees are welcome to contact MM+A directly for assistance with an issue related to the employee benefits program.

We represent our clients in negotiations with insurance carriers on all issues, including those related to premiums, service, plan design, special terms and conditions, etc.

We identify and implement efficiency measures that can potentially reduce the costs associated with the employee benefit programs without reducing service to the employees.
